Important changes to the 2024 Race Series

First I would like to start with an apology about the cancellation of the Bull Hollow Stampede due to rain but for the safety of every body involved with not only racing but getting into the venue it was the right choice for the club.

As you all know we have had challenges with finding good racing venues for AVDRA racing. First, I want you all to know that we are striving hard to find workable solutions and venues to race our vintage bikes which will be appropriate for our AVDRA club races that is not only fun but safe for all of us. We have potential race venues we are currently looking into and when we determine if they are viable we will make an announcement about them to the club. If you know of potential venues please let us know about it and we will look into it.

Currently we have changed the October race to take place on Saturday December 7, 2024 which is the day before the race currently on the schedule for December 8, 2024. This change will make this a 2 day race event. Online sign up is reflecting this change now. To race both events you will have to sign up online for both dec 7th and Dec 8th separately.

The day of racing will be seeing some changes also with all Vintage classes running their first and second motos prior to other classes. Then GP first and second motos. Then modern first and second motos. This is done in other racing clubs with much success. Not only will the track be less beat up for the vintage bikes this format change will help us gather up volunteers for flagging help when we need it.
