| Now that I am finally somewhat healthy after a brutal winter filled with bronchitis and sinus infections, Karen and I stopped by Dave and Nancy's place this evening to talk AVDRA vintage trials. Long story short, here are the dates for the upcoming vintage trials events that will fly the AVDRA banner. The next event is in May, before it gets too hot to ride. The first full season will be a four event series. Dave will look at having a trials-unique plaque made up for each event and no AVDRA membership is required to run the trial. Also, all events will be held on the Speedworld property. There is plenty of area to run Observed Sections where the AVDRA Cross Country event was held in February, in addition to the areas we have used in the past around the National and Vintage motocross tracks. We will talk more at the next race, until then...I will be looking for anyone who wants to volunteer to help layout the Sections. AVDRA Trials May 2008 – Sunday after AVDRA (Sat. night) last race of season First Full Season September 2008 – Saturday before AVDRA Season Opener December 2008 - Saturday before R.A.D. Motocross February 2009 – Saturday before AVDRA National Motocross May 2009 – Saturday before AVDRA last race of season Thanks a ton. |
